    CAMBA’S HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) DEPARTMENT manages all aspects of human resources and administrative functions such as onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, recruitment, interviewing, hiring new staff in accordance with all regulatory policies and requirements, and performance measurement/appraisal. The Human Resources Department’s goals are to enhance employee morale and productivity, limit job turnover, effectively use employee skills/knowledge/abilities, provide training and development opportunities to improve those skills, and increase employees’ job satisfaction.

    POSITION: RECRUITING COORDINATOR

    REPORTS TO: TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER

    LOCATIONS: 1720 CHURCH AVENUE, BROOKLYN, NY, 11226

    WHAT THE RECRUITING COORDINATOR DOES: The Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support within the HR department’s Talent Acquisition team. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities related to the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of CAMBA employees, interns, and volunteers.

    • Support the Talent Acquisition team in all aspects of recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process.
    • Develop job postings and post to appropriate posting sources.
    • Review resumes and send selected applicants to Recruiter or program for consideration.
    • Facilitate references and employment verification process, and follow-up with both candidates and references as needed.
    • Collect and ensure receipt of all required documentation as part of CAMBA’s hiring process
    • Follow onboarding procedures for CAMBA hires, including criminal background checks, education / professional licensure verification, fingerprinting and/or clearances, health testing, and other procedures as required by the position, program, or funder.
    • Provide event support to Talent Acquisition team during career fairs or hiring events.
    • Assist with the scheduling of new hire orientations.
    • Assist in the preparation of employment packages for new employee orientations.
    • Assist candidates and employees in the completion of paperwork, as needed.
    • Respond to requests for hiring status of candidates for employment.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability and willingness to multi-task and use time efficiently.
    • Must maintain integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality at all times.
