Canyon Counseling Center is located in the heart of Provo, UT and focuses on all aspects of psychology and strong relationships. We seek growth and progression with each client by applying psychological principles that are grounded in theistic therapy values. We want to provide services to help our clients feel safe to explore therapeutic help, without sacrificing spiritual beliefs and ideals, whatever they may be. Our common belief is that people are good. We work hard to create an environment that is safe and supportive - where a strong healthy relationship between the therapist and the client can promote healing, peace and positive change.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

We are looking for a passionate, caring, and Professional Career Therapist. We need someone who is comfortable working with a faith-based population. The successful candidate is someone who is competent in treating depression, anxiety, process addictions, children, couples and other common therapeutic challenges.   

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Keep Utah license current and up to date.

• Stay current on case notes and required paperwork. 

• Maintain 32-35 sessions per week.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Masters or Doctorate degree

• At least 1 year counseling experience  

• Licensed to practice therapy in Utah

PREFERRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):

• At least 5 years counseling experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
