An international English language school in Pacific Beach & Downtown San Diego is seeking an Activities Coordinator. We are seeking a candidate who is friendly and enjoys working in an international school environment. The position is part time with a 2 day/week schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for activities from 2:30-5:30pm, and 1 day/week schedule (preferably Wednesday) for all other administrative duties from 10:00am-2:00pm. The position will be 10 hours per week, plus the candidate is required to also lead 2-3 paid activities per month. These are mostly held in the evenings or on the weekends e.g. large sporting events, so you would be required to be available for some evening and/or weekend work.

Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation and planning of the student activities calendar, inputting all the activities into our student sign up software, creating calendar in Canva, creating attendance sheets, monitoring and uploading attendance, leading activities ( Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:30-5:30pm), taking photos for CEL socials, uploading photos, communicating with students both in person and via email, overseeing the activities spreadsheet to track expenses, student numbers, feedback, etc. and any other projects assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Must have experience working in an office environment

Must be 21+

Ability to multitask and work independently

Detail-oriented

Knowledge of Microsoft Suites, Google Suites, Trello, and Canva is highly preferred

Previous experience working with international students in a school environment is preferred, but not required

Compensation:

$20 per hour
