The United Way of the Greater Capital Region seeks a Revenue and Accounts Receivable Manager. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounts Receivable & Revenue Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable and Revenue Cycle, applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements; ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures, and overseeing collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the timely and accurate gathering, processing and recording of data for all Accounts Receivable & Revenue.
Generate and analyze Accounts Receivable & Revenue financial information needed to prepare financial statements on a monthly basis.
Resolve Accounts Receivable & Revenue accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of StratusLIVE data with Quickbooks accounting software data.
Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
Assess current Accounts Receivable & Revenue accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes as needed.
Continuously improve internal control structure and procedures to enhance efficiencies and transparencies.
Hire, train, retain and supervise Accounts Receivable & Revenue staff.
Assist in the annual budget process as needed.
Prepare for annual audit and assist auditors as needed.
Complete special projects and tasks as requested by CFO.

Education and/or Experience:
BA Accounting degree and minimum of 3-5 years relevant accounting experience.
Proficient skill in computer software programs and applications designed for financial management.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
Supervisory experience required.
Experience with StratusLIVE 365 Nonprofit CRM a plus
