    Job Description

    Capital Postal & Mailbox Service in Long Beach, CA is looking for one Sales Executive to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 6187 Atlantic Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

    Capital Postal & Mail Box Service is expanding our commercial development team and seeks an experienced Sales Executive to generate revenue by attracting potential customers and building long-term relationships in assigned store locations. We are seeking fearless, proactive, energetic individuals who enjoy the thrill of the hunt and hitting sales numbers. Reporting to the Long Beach office, the Sales Executive is expected to demonstrate an extensive knowledge international supply chain logistics and an understanding of how to drive potential customers and competitors within their territory.

    The Sales Executive position is the face of Capital Postal & Mail Box Service; driving relationships and working closely with operations staff to ensure exceptional shipping experience for your clients. Capital Postal & Mail Box (CRM) tool will align you with corporate goals, manage your opportunities, and help improve your performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

    • Identify and initiate contact with potential clients;
    • Negotiate rates and offer creative supply chain solutions in order to obtain new business;
    • Participate in value-added solutions;
    • Communicate clear operating procedures to operations staff from the client;
    • Be knowledgeable regarding Capital Postal & Mail Box Services to assist in promoting to existing customers;
    • Assist in establishing activities that will help target new business;
    • Drive both revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes;
    • Stay current on market trends to provide council and sound advice to clients;
    • Participate in local trade groups and other networking events as directed by the CEO
    • and VP of Commercial Development;
    • Document daily activity progress and key information in Company CRM tool; and
    • Continuous engagement in Global Trade Industry;
    • including training and education in the business.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ Years of experience in shipping and global logistic sales;
    • Established relationships with shipping & transportation vendors;
    • A track record demonstrating an ability to develop and grow a customer base;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Deep understanding of the shipping industry;
    • Up to 80% travel within the targeted region;
    • Creative problem solver with an aptitude for working individually; and
    • Passion for providing excellent customer service.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED)

    • BA/BS degree required
    • Degree in Communication, Economics, Supply Chain, International Business a plus
    • IATA Certification, DG Certification a plus

    This position offers a competitive base salary and incentive plan
