Payroll and Human Resource Administrator
Job Description
Mid-Size Multifamily General Contractor, Developer, and Property Management Company in far North Dallas on Dallas Parkway, near Westgrove is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Payroll / Human Resources.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Research and track all legal payroll and benefits regulations, ensuring federal and state compliance
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including benefits and taxes compliant with Federal and State wage and hour laws
· Handle new hires, terminations and related employee changes paperwork
· Manage companywide electronic devices and software licenses, including purchasing, setting up accounts, and interfacing with IT consultants
· Manage outside recruiting efforts, initial resume review, and interview scheduling
· Answer employee requests, concerns and questions about their paychecks
· Keep accurate employment files
· Assist with job searches as needed
· Manage 401K, including preparation of year-end census
· Process requests for time off & manage vacation & sick time for all employees
· Handle health insurance enrollments, and management of each employee’s charges monthly
· Workers Comp account management - maintain spreadsheet & monthly reporting including participating in annual Workers Comp audit
· Process expense reports and issue reimbursement checks to employees - intercompany transactions could be involved
· **Manage company cellular phone records, accounts & terminations **- intercompany transactions & billings will be involved
· Coordinate with Accounting to ensure seamless and timely integration of information
· Miscellaneous filing, tasks and special projects for COO and or Vice President
· Opportunity to participate in other management functions on an as needed basis as our company continues to grow
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or related/equivalent work experience
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
· Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint is a plus
· Experience with ADP is a plus
· Detail oriented
· Experience working in a small company environment
This is a Full-Time In-Office Position.
