  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Perform full cycle Accounts Payable for corporate headquarters.
    • Perform full cycle Accounts Receivable.
    • Investigate and resolve any account discrepancies as needed.
    • Record journal entries and prepare account analyses for balance sheet accounts as assigned.
    • Investigate and resolve any account discrepancies.
    • Record intercompany cross-charges and provide / obtain supporting documents as required.
    • Ensure that intercompany account balances are reconciled during month end close.
    • Prepare schedules and reports for internal and external audits as requested.
    • Assist with budgeting and financial modeling as requested.
    • Prepare and submit 1099 MISC and PATR reporting at year end.
    • Perform general clerical duties including filing and records management.
    • Actively participate in cross-functional team projects as requested

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                                            

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting and one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:                                                                

    Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    REASONING ABILITY:                                                      

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Exceptional attention to detail is required. 

    COMPUTER SKILLS:                                                          

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  Exposure to an ERP system is preferred.
