Caregiver – Part-Time (Weekdays) Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53223 Schedule: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (2–3 days per week) Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities in a safe and respectful manner.

Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing and showering

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with dressing and personal grooming

Prepare simple meals

Perform light housekeeping tasks

Assist with grocery shopping

Support clients with incontinence care

Help maintain a safe and clean home environment

Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits

Client Information:

Client is blind

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required

Experience with incontinence care is a plus

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Comfortable assisting a visually impaired client

Reliable, punctual, and compassionate

Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
