Caregiver – Part-Time (Sundays) Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53202 Schedule: Sundays, 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This role involves assisting with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client.

Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing and showering

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with grocery shopping

Perform light housekeeping tasks

Prepare meals

Help maintain a safe home environment

Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits

Provide support with mobility and transfers

Assist clients with incontinence care

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required

Experience working with clients with dementia preferred

Experience with incontinence care preferred

Experience using a gait belt preferred

Ability to safely assist and support client mobility and weight transfers

Reliable, compassionate, and patient

Strong communication and time management skills
