Caregiver – Every Other Weekend (West Allis, WI)

Join Our Compassionate Team at Assisting Hands Home Care – Central Milwaukee

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Caregiver to provide quality in-home support for a male client in West Allis, WI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others live comfortably and independently at home.

A reliable car, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance are required.

Schedule: Every Other Weekend Saturday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM Sunday: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal grooming

Provide companionship and meaningful engagement

Support grocery shopping and light meal preparation

Assist with incontinence care

Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home environment

Organize household items following a recent move

Schedule or accompany the client to appointments (physicians/labs)

Assist safely with mobility and the client’s weight

Be comfortable around a small household dog

Requirements:

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active car insurance

Prior caregiving experience preferred

Experience with dementia care is a plus

Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
