Caregiver – Part-Time (Weekdays & Every Other Weekend) Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53222 Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This position focuses on personal care, companionship, and assisting with daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing and showering

Provide companionship and emotional support

Assist with dressing and personal grooming

Prepare meals

Perform light housekeeping and laundry

Provide medication reminders and assistance

Assist with care coordination and scheduling appointments with physicians and labs

Help maintain a safe home environment

Accompany client to appointments as needed

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience preferred

Experience working with clients with dementia is required

Care coordination experience is preferred

Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented

Strong communication and organizational skills
