    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team at our facility located in Elk Grove Village. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines, Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparator, Quality Control Software, GD&T, AS9100, Analysis Programs, Basic Computer Skills, Blueprint Reading, AS9100/ISO9001 Standards, Quality Control Data Analysis, and Quality Inspection.

    Responsibilities

    • Create new and modify existing CMM programs for all CNC machined parts using Zeiss, Faro, and Keyence metrology.
    • Understand how to use various hand measuring instruments(i.e. micrometer, caliper, height gage, profilometer).
    • Perform all First Article Inspections and record data in ERP.
    • Perform in-process inspections as required.
    • Resolve out-of-tolerance concerns and advise machinists of the proper path to conforming parts.
    • Perform incoming inspection of subcontracted work including, but not limited to, machine parts, raw materials, post processing finishing.
    • Create and properly document non-conformances.
    • Inspect part within time requirements of job.
    • Understanding and basic knowledge of AS9100D and ISO9001.
    • Proficient use and knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
    • Visually inspect parts for dents, dings, FOD or other non-conformities.

    Qualifications

    • Experience with CMM machines and quality control processes.
    • Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 Certification standards.
    • Proficiency in using various measurement tools and equipment.
    • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or aerospace industry preferred.

    Salary info:

    $27 - $32 / hr
