Overview
We are seeking a QC Inspector/ CMM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines, Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparator, Quality Control Software, GD&T, AS9100, Basic Computer Skills, Blueprint Reading, and AS9100/ISO9001 Standards
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections as required.
- Perform First Article Inspections and record data in ERP.
- Resolve out-of-tolerance concerns and advise machinists of the proper path to conforming parts.
- Perform incoming inspection of subcontracted work including, but not limited to, machine parts, raw materials, post processing finishing.
- Create new and modify existing CMM programs for all CNC machined parts using Zeiss, Faro, and Keyence metrology.
- Understand how to use various hand measuring instruments(i.e. micrometer, caliper, height gage, profilometer).
- Create and properly document non-conformances.
- Inspect part within time requirements of job.
- Understanding and basic knowledge of AS9100D and ISO9001.
- Proficient use and knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Visually inspect parts for dents, dings, FOD or other non-conformities.
Qualifications
- Experience with CMM machines and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 Certification standards.
- Proficiency in using various measurement tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or aerospace industry preferred.

Salary info:
$27 - $32 / hr
