LITIGATION PARALEGAL (Certified ~~ ABA-Approved Program)

Insurance Defense / Medical Malpractice Law Firm (Downtown Long Beach, CA) Minimum 2 years of litigation experience required (Insurance Defense and/or Medical Malpractice experience preferred)

The following is a description of a certified paralegal position currently available:

RESPONSIBILITIES (general -- including, but not limited to): • Prepare subpoena requests to copy services and update records log • Prepare Motions in Limine • Prepare pretrial documents (witness list, exhibit list, statement of the case, jury instructions, etc.) • Organize and tag records and films (x-rays) • Trial preparation QUALIFICATIONS: • Paralegal certificate (ABA Approved Program) • Great organizational and multi-tasking skills • Min. 60 wpm • WordPerfect and Word
