ABOUT US:

CASA Speech and Development Services is Arizona's newest therapist owned home health agency and is in need of caring therapists to provide in home and clinic based speech therapy services. Our mission is to provide quality services and to be the best in class provider of home and clinic based therapies. The ideal candidate will have six (6) months of current experience in a comparable job classification required. Recent grads with experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities are welcome to apply.

Part-time positions available in San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, Coolidge, Casa Grande, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler and Mesa. You choose the area(s) where you want to work and create your own schedule!

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT ARE WILLING TO WORK EVENING HOURS. OUR GREATEST NEED IS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3:00 PM-6:30 PM M-F AND ON WEEKENDS. HOME HEALTH IS OUR GREATEST SETTING NEED. THIS ROLE IS 90% HOME HEALTH WITH 10% CLINIC VISITS. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to homes of patients to conduct therapy. You choose the zip codes you want to work in.
• Maintain SOAP notes after each visit. Notes are done electronically.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings
• Maintain communication with supervisor and families of clients
• Provide treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using evidence based practice.
• Implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent (post grad coursework) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid AZ SLPA License
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/Article 9
• At least 6 months experience in Home Health Setting
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Experience with AAC
• Passionate about working with children with Developmental Delays including Autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy
• Highly motivated, self starter

Commensurate With Experience- Contract Position
