  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Graphic design, video, and audio production (some experience necessary, we hope to provide an opportunity to add to your portfolio)
    •  Assist in content creation and management of social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
    • Write, edit, and manage blog posts for the website and internal communications newsletter
    • Collaborate on messaging and materials for development, fundraising, and other campaigns as needed, including fact sheets, brochures, and other materials
    • Document and participate in events and programs, both internally and in the community, potentially including support of CASES fundraising events
    • Create and/or update presentation materials

              Development 

    • Prospecting for potential donors
    • Assistance in grant making
    • Donor outreach
    • Drafting fundraising proposals
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Recent graduate or student currently studying English, Communications, Public Policy, Criminal Justice, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field in the Humanities or Social Sciences—CASES is happy to support the process of earning school credit for this  internship
    • Individuals with personal and/or familial experience with the criminal justice system are encouraged to apply
    • Interest in and/or some experience with communications, multimedia storytelling, and content creation preferred
    • Strong writing and organizational skills 
    • Self-starter and self-directed; able to work independently on assigned projects 
    • Planning and time management skills with attention to detail
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite are a plus
