Job Description

• Engage community partners and stakeholders to support employment, internship and credentialing opportunities for youth 
• Facilitate in person or virtual group workshops and individual sessions for credentials
•  Work collaboratively with team of employment specialists to assess needs and readiness for employment opportunities.
• Develop access to career pathways
• Engage and develop relationships with vocational training program partners
• Plan and execute employment events including, but not limited to career panels, career pathway informational, guest presenters, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in databases 
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Director of Education & Career Services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 
• 3+ years experience working with justice involved youth or youth employment 
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral 
• Experience developing relationships with external partners
• Commitment to active youth engagement  
• Trained in or committed to training to become competent in a motivational interviewing, harm reduction and trauma informed approach as a means of engaging young people

SALARY:         Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience

                     Full-time 35-hour week with excellent benefits
