  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Maintain a presence in Supreme, Criminal and Family courts by establishing relationships with court stakeholders.
    • Communicate with courts and other criminal justice partners, including police precincts, probation and parole.
    • Provide the courts with advocacy letters in support of enrolled participants.
    • Help achieve annual intake goals through effective community and institutional outreach
    • Ensure on time and quality data completion
    • Attend community/stakeholder meetings and develop relationships with representatives to advance the program
    • Prep speaking points and create presentation materials
    • Create, maintain and update all outreach materials
    • Assist in content creation and management of social media accounts
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and 3 years of experience in criminal justice field
    • Experience working with criminal justice partners including but limited to court partners
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Knowledge of and comfort with traveling within Harlem and South Bronx neighborhoods, with preference to candidates with an innate understanding and personal knowledge of one of these communities
    • A belief and interest in working collaboratively with Harlem and South Bronx communities, youth and families
    • Unwavering commitment to quality programs

    SALARY:         Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
