Job Description
ABOUT US: CB SkyShare is an Inc 5000 fastest growing aviation company in America with operation bases in Ogden and Salt Lake City, UT. We came in at #27 on Utah’s top 100 fastest-growing businesses in the state. We offer the West's premier shared aircraft ownership program, private aircraft charters, and managed aircraft services. We also operate FBO/Fuel services at the Ogden Airport and Gnoss Field Airport in Novato, CA.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Fast-flying, intensely passionate, private aviation company seeks to hire a Lead Tech & Account Manager for our private aircraft and the clients who own them. Our ideal applicant is driven by a desire to succeed, possesses a remarkable ability to pay close attention to small details, and juggles dozens of (metaphoric) fire-burning axes without breaking a sweat.
The goal of this position is to provide immaculate service to both clients + aircraft; moreover, elevate the efficiency of both your maintenance and flight operations teams. Candidly, this position is not for most techs out there. It will require ninja mental skills, mad amounts of patience dealing with customers who are used to receiving the WOW, and the ability to switch hats between tech and account manager on a regular basis. This position may provide instant purpose for the unique tech who thrives on challenges, wants to grow, and join a fantastic team on a mission to create something special. You could become an integral part of the continued, incredible success story. Our private jet company is charting to the top. You will work as an advocate of our mission and company's values to become the most loved private jet company in the West.
Please only apply if you have extensive expertise as a maintenance technician and exceptional people skills. You will manage a variety of business-related tasks such as: maintaining or overseeing all maintenance on your assigned aircraft, over-communicating with aircraft owners as their account manager for upcoming maintenance, being the liaison between all our other departments with the aircraft owners; delivery, and pickup of value-rich items such as uranium (just seeing if you're still reading), and organizational mind yoga to make our world a better place. This position will be primarily based at our Salt Lake facility and 1-2 days per week in our OGD and PVU offices (additional travel should be expected as needed).
MISSION FOR THIS POSITION: As the Maintenance Technician, you will be performing and documenting maintenance and alterations of aircraft airframe, engines, propellers, and appliances by following the policy and procedures published in the company General Maintenance Manual, Approved Aircraft Inspection Program, manufacturer's maintenance manuals, and associated service documentation, acceptable and approved data as applicable, and 14 CFR regulations.
As the Account Manager, you will be the forward-facing manager to our aircraft owners whose aircraft we manage. We currently manage over a dozen aircraft such as PC-12s, Citations, Challengers, Gulfstreams, and a Legacy. This position will be the first point of contact for assigned accounts. You will serve as the glue between maintenance, accounting, crew, and dispatch for the aircraft owner.
We need a self-starter, creative with problems, who figures out a way to complete the task every time. The whole goal is to make our team and company more effective.
