    Position Overview:

    We are seeking experienced professionals for the role of Director of Nursing, a critical position within the healthcare organizations we collaborate with.     Key Responsibilities:

    \- Clinical Leadership and Oversight: Lead the nursing team in maintaining the highest standards of care. Develop and enforce nursing protocols, guidelines, and policies to improve patient care and safety.

    \- Strategic Planning:Participate in strategic planning and decision-making alongside the executive leadership. Influence the formulation and achievement of the organization's strategic goals, with a particular focus on nursing services and patient care.

    \- Quality Improvement: Initiate and lead efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Monitor key metrics, implement best practices based on evidence, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

    \- Staff Development: Foster the growth and development of the nursing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Oversee the processes for credentialing, recruitment, and retention to build and maintain an exceptional nursing team.

    \- Patient Advocacy: Be a primary advocate for patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring that nursing practices prioritize patient needs and adhere to the highest ethical standards.

    \- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all nursing activities conform to local, state, and federal healthcare regulations. Stay updated with changes in the legal and regulatory landscape and adjust nursing policies to maintain compliance.

    \- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure that nursing services are aligned with the broader objectives of the organization. Promote teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    \- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

    \- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

    \- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.

    \- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse nursing team.

    \- Deep understanding of nursing regulations, best practices, and clinical guidelines.

    \- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    \- Proven success in implementing quality improvement initiatives and enhancing patient care and outcomes.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    \- Advanced degree or certification in nursing administration, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.

    \- Experience with strategic planning and execution in a nursing or healthcare environment.

    \- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT.
