Job Summary:
As the Chemical Operator – Cannabis Infusion, you will actively support our production team by assisting with general production duties such as infusion and blending. You will be responsible for actively monitoring equipment performance during batch processing, completing routine preventive maintenance, leading continuous improvement initiatives, leading new product manufacturing and delivering products, as directed by the Production Manager.
About you:
- Able to prioritize safety and operate machinery in a safe and orderly manner.
- Good verbal communicator with the ability to assist and train other team members to improve their technical understanding.
- Attentive to detail, capable of closely following company policies and procedures and report deviations to management.
- Ensure that all raw materials used are accurately labeled and stored properly
- Manage time well and are able to meet designated productivity standards.
- Able to execute instructions on batch records as written.
- Able to operate manufacturing equipment according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Maintain cleanliness of infusion area and blending components to meet established GMP guidelines
- Strong aptitude for applying solutions as problems arise.
- Good understanding of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
