We are seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for coordinating all food purchases, maintaining inventory, and scheduling recurring deliveries. Education Requirements: * Associate or Bachelor's Degree * CDM Certified (preferred) * CFPP Certifed (preferred) Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of inventory. Inbound and outbound * Forecast purchases * Research new products & vendors * Maintain relationships with current vendors * Adhere to all regulated compliance guidelines. ​ Qualifications: * Strong Organizational Skills * Excellent Computer Skills * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Positive and professional demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experienced with using Quickbooks to maintain inventory Company Description CBS Food Program is a nonprofit which provides Day Care Centers, Schools, After School programs, and other nonprofit children's programs with nutritious child-friendly meals at little or no cost at all.
