    CC Consulting is helping a Mushroom Facility in Kennett Square seek a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to join our team. The Sanitation Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facility and equipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding sanitation standards. We are a leading producer of specialty mushrooms, committed to innovation and quality for over 90 years. Our facility, located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to providing the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Compensation: • Expected First Year Earnings: $60,000-$65,000 • Overtime after 40 hours • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance • Life, Dental, Vision, Accident, STD, etc • 401k Retirement Plan Responsibilities: Cleaning Supervision: • Supervise sanitation team in cleaning, maintaining, and preparing equipment and facilities for food production. • Maintain records of employee attendance and ensure proper staff levels. • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain sanitary conditions. Validate Cleaning: • Verify cleaning processes through APC Swabs, ATC Swabs, and Finished Product Results. Supplies and Equipment: • Collaborate with suppliers to order chemicals and janitorial supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. • Evaluate and recommend the most economical and quality cleaning and food safety products. • Conduct testing and research on new equipment, chemicals, or supplies. Chemical Effectiveness and Proper Use: • Ensure proper usage of cleaning chemicals and prevent wastage. • Regularly test chemical dispensers to maintain proper dispensing rates. • Verify the effectiveness and proper application of sanitizers. Safety: • Enforce company safety standards and policies among sanitation staff. • Ensure safe handling and maintenance of equipment and chemicals. • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used according to work safety and food safety standards. • Ensure employees utilize company-provided PPE, including hair nets, smock, rubber gloves, and rubber boots. Qualifications: • Bilingual English/Spanish required. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1-2 years of experience in sanitation or related field. • Must have sanitation experience. • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Defense, and Worker Protection Standard (WPS). • Familiarity with chemical handling and safety protocols. • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. • A valid driver’s license is required. • Training in chemical handling, jack operation, forklift operation, and scissor lift operation preferred. • Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
