    SME BUSINESS ANALYST

    CC Pace is seeking experienced Business Analysts for mortgage loan origination system project opportunities.  It is critical that candidates have a strong understanding of the overall mortgage origination processes and specific depth in working with construction lending programs.  The role will focus on being a subject matter expert to provide detailed business requirements for that area, outline test scenarios for that area, and to be able to provide and conduct end-to-end use cases.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    ·         Defining business requirements at a detailed level in one or more mortgage origination business functions and customer or counter-party interactions

    ·         Go-to person for detailed information on working within construction lending programs and related best practices

    ·         Producing test case outlines and/or test cases for scenarios

    ·         Testing end-to-end business workflows

    ·         Acting as liaison with technical resources as needed to resolve understanding of requirements

    ·         Ensuring unique business needs are properly translated to provide an effective system solution

    ·         Producing business process documentation and analysis with a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and clarity of outputs

    SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    ·         Minimum 3 years experience in the primary mortgage lending market with detailed expertise in construction lending programs, including lot loans, construction, refinancing, and perm loans

    ·         The ability to translate that primary mortgage knowledge into business requirements

    ·         Excellent communication skills and ability to present to varying audiences

    ·         Comfortable with changing priorities due to evolving business needs

    ·         Strong writing skills with a good grasp of grammar, capable of preparing complex documents that are readable and understandable

    ·         Able to facilitate meetings and interviews

    ·         Must have the ability to listen to business users, convey ideas effectively, and prepare written requirements documentation

    ·         Ability to think critically and negotiate consensus among diverse participants

    ·         Ability to multi-task

    ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS INCLUDE:

    ·         Previous experience performing business analysis and requirements definition

    ·         Experience with Agile and/or iterative software development methodologies

    ·         Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
