    CCAF (Community College Air Force) Advisor – $20,00 p/h – Whiteman Air Force Base, MO 65305

    As a CCAF (Community College Air Force) Advisor, you will work at Whiteman Air Force Base, providing guidance and support to military personnel, Department of Defense civilian employees, family members, and other eligible individuals. This role involves delivering expert advice on the CCAF program and associated education services.

    You will assist customers with everything from understanding degree requirements to navigating tuition assistance options, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed academically.

    This is a part-time, contract 1099 vacancy.

    Contract= 5yrs/6months

    Please note: any qualified candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide applicable supporting documents, i.e. photocopies of degree(s) or transcripts, copies of certifications, ordination certificates, etc.

    Position is contingent upon contract award.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Advise on CCAF eligibility, degree requirements, and program options.
    • Process paperwork, submit Action Requests, and assist with transcript collection.
    • Provide information on tuition assistance, the GI Bill, and career counselling.
    • Support customers with CLEP/DANTES testing and education planning.
    • Answer queries via phone and in person, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records.
    • Actively promote the benefits of the CCAF program.

    Benefits:

    • Flexible, part-time hours (scheduled between 07:30-16:30).

    The Person

    We are looking for someone with:

    • A degree that includes at least 24 semester hours in relevant education or counselling-related coursework.
    • Experience in an education or counselling role, ideally with knowledge of the CCAF program.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to present a professional image.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • A passion for helping others achieve their academic and career ambitions.
