JOB DESCRIPTION: Korean American Family Services (KFAM) is a non-profit organization specializing in gender-based violence, mental health, and foster/adoption services to API immigrant families. KFAM is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual to work in its Child Care Food Program (CCFP) under the supervision of the CCFP Manager. The individual is responsible for monitoring day care homes and preschool/afterschool centers in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Conduct monitoring visits with licensed daycare home and center providers to ensure that they are meeting CCFP requirements.
Follow up with providers after monitoring visits if they need training or corrections.
Submit written reports after monitoring visits.
Complete paperwork required by CCFP program.
Input and review monthly provider claims for reimbursement on CNIPS
Manage a caseload of providers
Mail checks and forms to providers
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual in Korean or Spanish preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license, regular use of a car, and auto insurance.
Willingness to drive significantly (mileage reimbursement provided).
Must pass TB Test and criminal background check.
Ability to work well with people, and sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
Must have strong organizational skills, be good at multi-tasking, and meet deadlines.
