    Our trusted client seeks a CCIE NETWORK SME (100% remote) to join their team!

    • Title : CCIE NETWORK SME **** (100% Remote)
    • Duration : 12 to 36 month contract
    • Job Location : 100% Remote
    • Work Schedule : Normal Business Hours EST
    • Travel: No travel Required
    • Target Start Date : October 2024

    Job Summary: As a CCIE Senior Network Engineer, your mission is to provide leadership in the development, configuration, installation, administration and optimization of our network including implementing improvements and enhancements which support service goals; evaluating new network technologies; and making recommendations regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network. Your background and experience should include:

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Plan and oversee the design and documentation of the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), tracking of infrastructure system build-out status, specification and configuration of firewalls, switches, core routers, content switches, and web management devices
    • Research the need and availability of appropriate hardware for project and production support; and configure and install new network hardware in support of the initiatives
    • Install, configure, and manage network reporting tools and software and use monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware to troubleshoot, isolate and resolve problems
    • Manage the utilization of hardware and software tools to monitor the health of our company internet connection, Wide Area Network, and various Local Area Networks; oversee vendor patches and fixes to problems; correct issues and problems with the network
    • Utilize software and hardware diagnostic tools to identify, diagnose and repair complex problems and factors affecting network performance; direct and perform all necessary information system audits to ensure service levels are sustained, systems are optimized and information systems are not compromised
    • Develop network documentation, including diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions
    • Perform after hours’ support duties to sustain networking systems and service levels as required
    • Provide for other systems and network engineering tasks, as required

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • REQUIRED: Ten (10) years or more of related work experience directly involved with data network and Cisco based network equipment
    • REQUIRED: CCIE Certification (no exceptions)
    • REQUIRED: Hands-on expertise, a be team-oriented in outlook and practice with a consultative leadership and communications style
    • REQUIRED: Experience with cloud services, voice/data communications, network architecture and network protocols, network monitoring and alerting, firewall configuration maintenance, software configuration, network protocol traffic management and QoS configuration
    • REQUIRED: Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other IT and our company Associates and departments
