Hours are 7:45am-5pm (or last patient completed) Monday through Friday.
Must learn how to fill in for:
o Nurse
o Triage
· During the Flu season, the Floater will assist with walk in Flu injections.
· If there is a day the Floater is not working in the place of someone, then they are expected to work on the schedule, help with calls and injections, refill’s, and lab letters.
· Collaborating with all office personnel as needed.
· Conduct self in accordance with Cullman Internal Medicine employee manual.
· Maintains strictest confidentiality, adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
· Adheres to all Compliance guidelines/regulations, OSHA requirements.
· Participates in educational activities and attends quarterly staff meetings.
· Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
· Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor as deemed appropriate to include but not be limited to scheduling or phones.
· Qualifications: within scope of training.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· CCMA with 2 years of clinical experience, CMA(AAMA)/LPN/RN license required.
· Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions/ and communicate effectively with others.
· Knowledge of computer programs.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
· Must be well organized and detail oriented.
· Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Requires sitting, standing and walking associated with a normal office environment.
· Manual dexterity needed for using a computer keyboard.
