Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
5-10 Field Application Engineer experience
Detailed knowledge of assigned market’s design platforms and applications.
Semiconductor application support experience
Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customers and management.
Detailed knowledge of assigned market industry safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop professional relationships with engineers and management at key and focus accounts.
Probe to determine the salient requirements of protection solutions and competitive threats.
Select appropriate application block diagrams from previous use or generate new ones as needed to foster total solution sales.
Work through Marcom to develop technical sales collateral for use with RSMs, representative firms and distribution channel partners.
Sort through customer technical issues to determine correct part selection, quality issues, etc. and engage proper product line resources to get issues resolved.
Support sales activities to secure custom part samples or required testing and reports.
Generate and present technical training to RSMs, representative firms and distribution channel partners.
Leverage professional relationships to get technical requirements of future projects at key customers and focus accounts.
