Data Analyst Specialist

The purpose of this position is to acquire and interpret data from primary and/or secondary sources. Analyze results using statistical techniques to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data set. Ensure data is of quality to make appropriate recommendations. Visualize and present results for internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: (These are needed to perform the work assigned.)

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or a relevant field
• 3 years of program experience which includes statistical collection and analysis, evaluation of efficiency, data quality or cleansing, root cause analysis, and participation on data or quality analysis teams.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Java, and Python.
• Experience with common enterprise architecture frameworks, models and artifacts and relational database management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, summarize and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.
• Must be able to quickly learn and lead in a new environment.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills.
• Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels of business and technical staff.
