    Summary:

    We are seeking an employee who shall provide overall leadership, direction, and successful execution of providing an evidence-based approach for improving the implementation of the Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP) and increasing colorectal cancer (CRC) screening uptake in settings with low prevalence of CRC screening. They will be responsible for providing both managerial and scientific oversight of all project activities. They will serve as the primary authorized individual between the contractor and the Government, including the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative, and CDC leadership.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • The employee shall organize, direct, and manage scientific oversight.
    • They will serve as the contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the contract level Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
    • Obtains staff for subordinate personnel; serves as a liaison among contractor's corporate management, program managers and CDC's program directors/managers.
    • They will have ultimate responsibility for contractor resources and the accomplishment of all tasks assigned.
    • Authorized to negotiate and make binding decisions on behalf of the company.
    • Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of CDC as they relate to this project.
    • They shall be responsible for the overall contract performance.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Possess U.S. citizenship.
    • Possess a PhD in Social Science or Economics
    • At least 5 years' experience in project management, executive leadership, and technical oversight.
    • A working knowledge of advanced reporting, multi-tasking and strategic planning + execution.
    • Excellent skills in writing, client management, time management, and communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
