    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    As a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER for a rapidly expanding nationwide dialysis company, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, generating leads, preparing and processing proposals. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Business Development.

    The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

    YOU WILL:

    • Develop in-depth understanding of the total marketing process, including the key components of dialysis services.
    • Create marketing campaigns utilizing direct mail, email, and social media marketing tactics.
    • Develop marketing tools (website, print, etc.) to generate brand awareness, which convert to viable prospects.
    • Drive achievement of goals, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators of the Inside Sales Team.
      • Ensure that each Business Development Specialist produces a sufficient number of formal leads within their assigned territory each month, as determined by the VP of Business Development to meet business development goals.
      • Ensure Business Development Specialist maintains daily sales activity through outgoing calls to facility executives via telephone and written correspondence to investigate the dialysis services needs of the facility
    • Facilitate the proposal production and submission process.
      • Prepare Term Sheets, Letters of Intent, and Contracts/Service Agreements (using attorney generated contract templates) utilizing information gathered from Business Development and Operations Leadership.
      • Input data into pricing model templates and develop pricing recommendations.
      • Coordinate, develop, and submit thorough and timely responses to government agency-led RFPs.
    • Work effectively with peers, direct reports and upper management in a collaborative effort through creative cross selling and ongoing team involvement.
    • Review information sources (journals, periodicals, internet, media, etc.) on a regular basis to identify trends/changes in healthcare in general and specific to assigned territory.
    • Must be willing to stretch “up” and “down” in responsibilities to support leadership team as needed.
    • Demonstrates CDI Mission and Vision daily.
    • Contribute to the exciting culture of an energetic and growth-focused team located in downtown Austin, TX.
    • Travel up to approximately 20% locally and out of the area as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    PEOPLE WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION WILL BE CONSIDERED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University in a Business-related field.
    • 3+ years' experience within a multi-site healthcare organization in an business development, inside sales, and marketing capacity is highly preferred.
    • Accustomed to managing a team of 2-4 people remotely.
    • Able to thrive in a fast paced, high exposure, "make it happen" environment.
    • Strong phone and computer skills, with the ability to clearly articulate direction and guidance to others.
    • Exceptional, consultative communication skills, with demonstrated written and verbal accuracy.
    • Solid grasp of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
    • Experience working with CRM software.
    • Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
    • Ability to learn quickly and follow defined processes.
    • Ability to create systems and processes that drive efficiency.
