Local Delivery Truck Driver - Family Dollar Morehead

Location: Morehead, KY and surrounding areas (Hiring Radius: 100-mile radius of Morehead, KY)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation:

• Daily Pay: $205 per day worked, $250 per trailer (unloads only)
• Breakdown Pay: $100 per day
• Holiday Pay: $700 for 7 holidays
• Backhaul Pay: $50 per pick-up (backhauls required)
• Trailer Pay: $250 per trailer
• Training/HOS and Safety Bonus: $80 per month

Benefits:

• Weekly average miles: 800-1,100
• Weekly average gross pay: $1,000-$1,400
• Home time: Weekly with a 5 1/2 - 6-day work schedule, home for 34-hour reset (not off weekends)
• Rider and pet authorization available
• Can take tractor home during home time

Requirements:

• Valid CDL with clean driving record
• Ability to operate a sleeper truck with a 53' dry van trailer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 12 months Tractor Trailer Experience

Job Description:

Join our team as a Local Delivery Truck Driver specializing in delivering floor-loaded freight for Family Dollar. Drivers will use rollers to hand off loads, managing preloaded, multi-stop routes with 100% touch freight and no drop and hook.

Responsibilities include:

• Preloaded, multi-stop deliveries with tight backing maneuvers
• Manual offloading of freight, aiming for approximately 3 loads per week with 3000 cases per trailer
• Providing excellent customer service and communication as frontline representatives
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations and positive driver communication
