About the Role:

Larlham Landscape Construction Co. is looking for a skilled CDL A Certified Driver/Equipment Operator to join their team in Charlestown, RI. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in picking up and delivering high-quality landscape construction projects from start to finish. If you love operating heavy equipment and being out in the field, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy construction and landscaping equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, and loaders

Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites using a Class A commercial vehicle

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation

Assist with grading, excavation, and site preparation for landscape construction projects

Follow project plans, site layouts, and supervisor instructions to meet project specifications

Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly

Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies on and off the road

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required

Proven experience operating heavy construction or landscaping equipment

Clean driving record and compliance with DOT regulations

Ability to read and interpret site plans and project specifications

Strong attention to safety and detail in all field operations

Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented work ethic
