CDL Driver & Field Crew Member (Rolloff / Vac / Dump Trucks)

At Bob Smith Plumbing, we’re building a team — not just filling seats. We’re looking for a CDL Driver who’s also ready to be part of the crew. This role combines operating specialized trucks (vac, roll-off, dump) with hands-on support in the field. 🔧 What You’ll Do

This is a dual-role position — you’ll be behind the wheel and on the job site.

Driving & Equipment Operation:

Safely operate vacuum trucks (jet-vac), roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and company vehicles

Transport materials such as liquids, sludge, debris, dirt, and fill (gravel, etc.)

Maneuver vehicles in tight or active job sites (alleys, residential, construction zones)

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition

Maintain equipment and report any issues to the fleet manager

Field & Crew Support:

Assist crews with job site tasks to keep projects running efficiently

Help with loading/unloading materials and equipment

Support tasks such as digging, blowing rock, running loaders, and general labor

Set up and maintain tools and equipment for each job

Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments

✅ What We’re Looking For

Valid CDL Class A (required)

Clean driving record

Experience with vac, roll-off, or dump trucks is a plus

Willingness to work in the field — not just drive

Strong work ethic, reliability, and team mindset

Ability to communicate effectively with crew and leadership

💪 Physical & Work Environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Comfortable standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces

Exposure to outdoor conditions, loud equipment, and active job sites

Must follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
