About the Role:

E & J Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL-A Driver to join our growing team in Deep River, CT. Responsibilities:

Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal and state DOT regulations

Transport and deliver MSW (municipal solid waste) to designated locations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues

Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation (paper or electronic)

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries

Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies

Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required - Minimum of 3 years over the road or 4 years on local deliveries, working for the same company for two years.

Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety

Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

Experience operating Class A vehicles

Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules

Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
