    CDL-A Dedicated Local & Regional Driver – Denver, CO

    Cornerstone Driver Solutions is hiring experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for dedicated local and regional opportunities supporting a large grocery retail account in Colorado.

    These positions offer refrigerated freight, consistent dedicated work, and competitive weekly earnings. Both local and regional opportunities are available depending on the driver's location and operational needs.

    Pay & Compensation

    • Estimated weekly earnings: $1,450–$1,581
    • Estimated annual earnings: $75,400–$82,212
    • Mileage and additional compensation based on the applicable fleet and route
    • Additional pay may be available for qualifying activities
    • Safety and performance incentives may be available

    Pay and miles can vary based on route, customer demand, experience, and the assigned fleet. A recruiter will review the applicable pay package with qualified drivers.

    Position Options

    Local – Aurora, CO

    • Home daily
    • Dedicated refrigerated grocery freight
    • Local deliveries and multiple stops
    • Refrigerated trailer operation
    • 24/7 operation
    • Schedule may include nights, evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed
    • Drivers should be prepared for changing start times
    • 6 days on / 2 days off rotation
    • Up to approximately 70 hours per week when required

    Regional – Aurora Area

    • Regional dedicated refrigerated operation
    • Drivers generally receive a 34-hour weekly reset
    • Home time varies based on route and customer requirements
    • Multiple-stop grocery deliveries
    • Night, evening, early-morning and weekend work may be required
    • Mountain driving may be required
    • Flexible start times based on freight requirements

    Regional – Rifle, CO

    • Regional dedicated refrigerated operation
    • Weekly 34-hour reset
    • Mountain and western Colorado driving
    • Multiple-stop grocery deliveries
    • Flexible schedules based on customer demand
    • Night, evening, early-morning and weekend availability required

    Aurora Local

    Within 50 miles of ZIP 80011

    Aurora Regional

    Within 100 miles of ZIP 80011

    Rifle Regional

    Important: These are hiring radii, not the driving/operating radius. Drivers may travel significantly farther depending on their assigned route.

    Schedule & Availability

    This account operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Drivers must be prepared for:

    • Nights
    • Evenings
    • Early mornings
    • Weekends
    • Holidays as needed
    • Changing start times
    • A 6-days-on / 2-days-off rotation
    • Up to approximately 70 hours per week

    There is no guaranteed fixed shift or permanent start time.

    Freight volume and customer requirements determine the actual schedule.

    Freight & Driving

    Drivers haul refrigerated grocery freight for a large retail grocery operation.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Operating a refrigerated trailer
    • Making multiple customer stops
    • Live unloading at customer locations when required
    • Delivering grocery freight safely and on time
    • Operating in urban, highway and mountain environments
    • Completing required inspections and paperwork
    • Maintaining accurate logs and complying with DOT regulations
    • Providing professional customer service at delivery locations

    ⛰ Mountain Driving

    Some regional assignments require driving through mountainous terrain and changing weather conditions.

    Drivers must be comfortable operating safely in:

    • Mountain passes
    • Snow and ice
    • Winter weather
    • Steep grades
    • Variable road conditions

    Requirements

    • Valid Class A CDL
    • Minimum 3 months of qualifying tractor-trailer experience
    • Safe and responsible driving history
    • Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements
    • Ability to pass required drug screening and physical qualification
    • Comfortable operating refrigerated equipment
    • Comfortable making multiple stops
    • Willingness to perform live unloads when required
    • Willingness to work nights, evenings, early mornings and weekends
    • Ability to work the required 6-on / 2-off rotation
    • Ability to work up to approximately 70 hours when required
    • Reliable attendance
    • Strong communication and customer-service skills
    • Ability to complete the required over-the-phone account interview

    Home Time

    Local drivers: Home daily, subject to operational requirements.

    Regional drivers: Generally receive a weekly 34-hour reset , with actual home time dependent on the assigned route and customer requirements.

    Because this is a dedicated grocery operation, specific schedules and start times are not guaranteed.

    Training

    Qualified drivers must complete the required account training and onboarding process.

    Account training in Salt Lake City, Utah may be required.
