    CDL-A Local Grocery Driver – Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily

    Join a dedicated local grocery account delivering fresh and frozen products with daily home time, strong earning potential, and a $10,000 bonus.

    Pay Details

    • Average Annual Pay: $95,000
    • Average Weekly Pay: $1,900
    • $10,000 Bonus

    Job Details

    • Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using 46', 48', 51' or 53' reefer trailers
    • Deliver to supermarkets and distribution centers throughout NJ, CT, MA, VT, RI and NH
    • Multistop deliveries to local grocery stores
    • Average 31 stops per week
    • Typically one long load per day, with an occasional shorter load if hours permit
    • Pick up return product and backhauls to the distribution center as needed
    • Driver-assist unloading: 1–3 pallets per stop using an automatic or manual pallet jack
    • Support other local accounts as needed
    • Strong customer service skills are required
    • All holidays are expected to be worked

    Shift Details

    • Home Daily
    • Sunday–Thursday
    • Start times between 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
    • 12–14 hour shifts
    • Occasional layovers may be required
    • Hotel provided for overnight layovers

    Job Requirements

    • Valid Class A CDL
    • Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
    • Personal transportation to and from work daily
    • Clean driving record
    • DOT Medical Card
    • No SAP Drivers
    • Good customer service skills

    Equipment & Benefits

    • Automatic day cabs
    • Trucks cannot be taken home
    • Slip-seat operation; drivers may share trucks with drivers on the opposite shift
    • Account will try to keep drivers in the same truck, but slip-seating is expected
    • Uniforms provided by the account
    • Hotel provided when an overnight layover occurs
