    Hiring CDL-A drivers in Mount Pleasant, WI! This dedicated local intermodal position offers $75,000 average annual pay , a $10,000 bonus , 100% no-touch freight, and daily home time. Drivers run to Chicago rail yards each day.

    Main Yard / Starting Location

    Mount Pleasant, WI

    Drivers start and leave their assigned tractor at the Mount Pleasant yard when off duty.

    Pay Details

    • Average Yearly Gross: $75,000
    • Approximately $1,450 average weekly
    • $10,000 bonus
    • Starting pay: $0.48 CPM
    • $0.01 CPM annual increase up to $0.55 CPM
    • All hub miles paid equally, loaded or empty
    • $65 live load by customer
    • $40 customer drop & hook
    • $25 per Hazmat load
    • $30 per refrigerated load
    • $15 empty move
    • $23–$55 crosstown drop pay
    • Rail delay pay after applicable waiting period
    • $250/day ramp-specific training pay for at least 5 full days

    Job Details

    • Dedicated local intermodal operation
    • 100% no-touch freight
    • Daily runs to Chicago rail yards
    • Approximately 1,500 miles per week
    • Approximately 20% live loads and 80% drop & hook
    • Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
    • Hazmat reimbursement available after hire with required paperwork
    • Potential shift transfer after 6 months
    • Slip-seat operation

    Shift Details

    • Home daily
    • Monday–Friday
    • 2:00 PM start
    • Thanksgiving and Christmas time off is not guaranteed
    • Holiday pay available after 90 days on the account

    Job Requirements

    • Valid Class A CDL
    • Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
    • Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
    • Clean driving record
    • DOT Medical Card
    • No SAP drivers
    • Must be comfortable with daily Chicago rail-yard operations
    • Must follow no-smoking policy inside the truck
