    THE OPPORTUNITY

    The Utility Driver must maintain a valid CDL at all times. The position is responsible for operating the vehicles in a safe manner and coordinating any maintenance required. Additionally, the position supports field crews in delivering forms and materials/supplies as needed.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    1. Always maintaining CDL requirements and attending required certification training as deemed necessary by Supervisor.
    2. Driving safely to job sites.
    3. Being responsible for delivery of material and supplies to jobsites.
    4. Operating a boom crane in a safe manner.
    5. Managing forms in the Rusin's inventory system and communicating with superintendents and foreman for delivery.
    6. Operating a boom crane in a safe manner.
    7. Maintaining the cleanliness and operations of all vehicles assigned. Inspecting and maintaining equipment every day to ensure operation safety and to prevent damage to equipment and surrounding structures.
    8. Supporting the crews in ensuring the panel placement for the unloading and loading process is easy for them.
    9. Being responsible for delivery of material and supplies to jobsites.
    10. Meeting daily production goals working closely with Project Coordinator, job site foreman and/or superintendent.
    11. Submitting DVIR's daily for vehicles assigned.
    12. Following all safety rules and regulations as required, including wearing all PPE.
    13. Assist in the training of new drivers as needed, assess when training is complete and when more training is needed.
    14. From time to time and as needed, may be assigned to working with others, such as mechanics and shop lead.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION

    • Current CDL license.

    • Boom crane certification or finish Rusin's training course.

    • Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills.

    • Ability to maintain a clean vehicle at all times.

    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Work is performed primarily outside within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

    • Must be able to physically operate crane equipment (climb up and down into cab, twist torso for 360 degree visibility, use arms to operate controls, etc.)

    • While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to reach with hands and arms and frequently required to stand; talk or hear; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls.

    • You will be frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and sit.

    • You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
