    Valleywide Dig and Haul is a growing civil construction contractor with opportunity to spare.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving, transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. Mechanical ability/experience is a plus. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load management, and adherence to safety regulations and company protocols.

    Responsibilities

    Operate trucks to transport materials & equipment safely & efficiently

    Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, and equipment

    Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition

    Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs and material quantities

    Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays

    Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving on public roads

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment

    Skills

    Proven experience in a similar role within the construction / transportation industry

    Familiarity with various types of trucks / trailers, including dump truck, end dump, lowboy is required

    Experience with manual transmissions is required, 10 speed and 13 speed

    Strong knowledge of route driving and freight logistics

    Load / unload materials / equipment efficiently while meeting safety standards

    Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members

    Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on safety practices

    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    Mechanical experience is preferred

    Must have experience with manual transmission
