CDL Driver – Gooseneck Trailer for Site Development Operations

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver experienced in operating a gooseneck trailer to support our site development operations. This role is responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites using company trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following company safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a gooseneck trailer to transport machinery, tools, and materials between our yard and active job sites
- Load, secure, and unload equipment while following DOT and company safety guidelines
- Conduct daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment; report issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and equipment movement
- Assist with general yard duties when not driving (as needed)
- Follow instructions from dispatch, project managers, and site supervisors
- Uphold all federal, state, and company safety regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
- Proven experience hauling with a gooseneck trailer
- Experience working in construction, excavation, or site development preferred
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate, load, and secure light/heavy construction equipment
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and pre-trip inspection procedures
- Must be physically capable of climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), securing loads, and working outdoors
- Mechanical ability for basic equipment troubleshooting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Candidate Must have reliable personal transportation to and from our yard in Mableton, GA.
A company vehicle will be provided for use during work hours for all job-related travel.
