Position Overview

This position is responsible for delivering lumber and building materials to customers in a timely and professional manner while ensuring safe loading, transport, and unloading of materials.

This is primarily a local driving position with consistent hours and a strong team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles
• Deliver lumber and building materials to residential and commercial job sites
• Load and unload materials (may require use of forklift or boom truck)
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure loads are properly secured
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• Clean driving record
• Current DOT medical card
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Experience delivering building materials preferred
• Forklift and/or boom truck experience a plus
• Strong work ethic and reliability
