With a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our logistics team and seeking a skilled Route Dispatcher to coordinate daily delivery operations.

    Position Overview:

    The Route Dispatcher will be responsible for managing daily delivery schedules, optimizing routes, communicating with drivers and branch locations, and ensuring on-time deliveries to customers throughout the Midwest territory. This role requires strong communication, logistical planning, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational needs. A Class B CDL with Air Brakes and Hazmat endorsement is required to better understand route demands and assist with driver coverage if needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and dispatch delivery routes for beverage CO₂ and related products across assigned Midwest regions.
    • Monitor driver progress, delivery confirmations, and respond promptly to route disruptions or customer needs.
    • Communicate clearly with branch managers, warehouse teams, and sales personnel to align delivery priorities.
    • Ensure DOT compliance requirements are met related to load sheets, driver logs, and delivery documentation.
    • Adjust routes in real time to accommodate urgent orders, equipment issues, or weather-related changes.
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, route efficiency, customer exceptions, and driver performance.
    • Provide start-of-day briefings and support to drivers regarding load accuracy, safety checks, and route guidance.
    • Step in to cover local deliveries or assist drivers when staffing or urgent customer needs arise.
    • Serve as the point of contact for customer ETA communication and route-related service updates.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts for fuel efficiency, route consolidation, and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • Class B CDL with Air Brakes and Hazmat endorsement – REQUIRED
    • Prior dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation scheduling experience highly preferred.
    • Experience in beverage gas, packaged gas, propane, CO₂, welding supply, or industrial distribution a plus.
    • Strong geographical familiarity with Midwest states including MO, IA, KS, IL, and OK.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple drivers/routes simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills—clear, direct, and solution-focused.
    • Proficient with routing software, GPS fleet tracking systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations and load documentation standards.
    • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to step into a delivery role when operationally necessary.

    Compensation:

    • $28.50 hourly

    Schedule:

    Monday–Friday (7am-3:30pm), full-time with occasional after-hours support for route emergencies or customer escalations.
