What You'll Do as a Passenger Transportation Operator

Safe Passenger Transportation

• Transport passengers safely and efficiently along assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure passengers enjoy a comfortable and dependable travel experience
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
• Monitor road, traffic, and weather conditions to maintain safe operations
• Adapt to service changes and route adjustments as needed

Customer Service Excellence

• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to passengers
• Assist riders with boarding and exiting vehicles when necessary
• Support passengers with mobility needs in a safe and respectful manner
• Communicate clearly with passengers regarding route and service information
• Represent zTrip with professionalism and a customer-first attitude

Vehicle Operations & Safety

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and operationally ready vehicle
• Operate wheelchair lifts, ramps, and accessibility equipment safely when required
• Report maintenance concerns, incidents, or safety issues promptly
• Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to ensure service reliability

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Passenger (P) Endorsement Required
• Clean driving record
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and punctual work ethic
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in changing situations

Preferred

• Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, motor coaches, or other passenger transportation vehicles
• Experience working directly with customers in transportation, hospitality, or service-related industries
