CDSS Certified Administrator - Crisis Residential (Placerville, CA)
****The Administrator is responsible for the administrative and management operations of the 10-bed Crisis Residential Facility in Placerville, CA.
Oak Lane Center is a Crisis Residential Treatment Program that specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of clients with mental health illness. The 24-hour residential facility mission is to help clients to regain optimal functionality in order to reenter their community and live healthy independent lives.
Supervision Received:
Reports to the Regional Director and/or licensee.
Supervision Exercised:
Provides supervision to all facility staff.
Duties:
• Communicate with the licensee on all matters concerning the licensing and operations of the facility.
• Plan, organize and direct all the activities and management of Oak Lane Center.
• Develop and maintain all accounting, financial, and tax records of the SRF.
• Perform all human resources activities, including employee handbook development, hiring, training, and the termination of employees.
• Ensure the facility is in compliance with federal and state labor laws including poster requirements.
• Ensure physical plant is in compliance with federal, state, city, and fire marshals codes and regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings on clients’ individual needs and service plans.
• Ensure that services provided to clients are in accordance with services identified in each client's individual needs and services plan or required by California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Division 1, Chapter 3, Article 3.5, Sections 531 through 535 or Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 2.
• Collaborate with Head of Service and interdisciplinary team to assess clients’ progress towards goals and milestones identified in clients’ individual needs and service plans.
• Arrange for clients to attend available community programs, when clients have needs, identified in the needs and services plan, which cannot be met by the facility but can be met by community programs.
• Arrange for the special provision of services to clients with disabilities including visual and auditory deficiencies.
• Develop employees' work schedules as required in Section 81066(a).
• Provision of staff support to clients in the planning, preparing and serving of meals.
• Provision of staff support to clients in performing facility maintenance and/or cleaning activities as designated in the client's treatment/rehabilitation plan.
Educational Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree in management or administration (may be substituted with three years’ experience as stated below).
