The Process Improvement/Development (Foodservice) focuses on process improvement in CEFCO foodservice department related to cooking and prep to make it more efficient. The Intern will work cross-functionally and with vendors to changing the times/energy sources of cooking methods.The work performed by the Intern will provide LEAN (Leadership. Eliminate Waste. Act Now. Never Ending.) and efficient processes in foodservice cooking processes to help reduce complexity. In addition, the Intern will create job aids and videos to allow the company to train more effectively and efficiently.What the Intern will gain? Cross-functional leadership and work group skills, food science and culinary LEAN improvements, project management skills, and interpersonal management skills.What we are looking for: · College Junior or Senior with an expected graduation of December 2022 or anytime in 2023.· Pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Food Science, or similar degreeAll Internships are paid and are located at The Fikes Companies HQ in Temple, TX.
