    Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 Annually
    Location: On-Site, New Brunswick

    Role Description

    Cenmed Enterprises has been family-owned and operated in Central New Jersey for more than 30 years. Today, we’re a distributor of a wide variety of top-quality medical supplies, join our family as our new Accounts Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor. The Accounts receivable specialist is responsible for:

    1. Generating invoices and account statements.
    2. Producing monthly financial reports.
    3. Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries.
    4. Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
    5. Producing monthly financial and management reports.
    6. Assisting in general financial management and analysis.

    What You’ll Do Duties/Responsibilities

    • Facilitates collections of accounts receivable – Identifies delinquent customers, contacts customers to make payment arrangements, and follows up.
    • Participates in weekly collection meetings with management – Collector will provide updates on outstanding accounts.
    • The top 20 accounts in each business are discussed plus accounts greater than 90 days. Must be prepared to answer questions and resolve issues.
    • Review orders on hold daily - Contact customers and receive payment confirmation.
    • Resolve outstanding payment issues with customers, sales reps, or managers as needed.
    • Resolve customer issues with internal stack holders as needed in the collection process.
    • Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts with the account holder.
    • Follow established guidelines to review and update account status.
    • Records notes for each interaction with customers via ERP system or internal source.
    • Monitors accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
    • Daily cash receipt postings
    • Communicate with internal teams to help validate deductions.
    • File deduction disputes as necessary.
    • Posting journal entries as needed.
    • Communicate with customers about billing discrepancies and past-due accounts.
    • Identify any accounts receivable issues during invoice processing and help resolve them.

    What You’ll Bring to The Table

    • 5 years of professional experience, preferably in Accounting or Finance

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for interacting with and supporting our corporate clients.

    • Experience with ERP and CRM systems

    • Reasonable problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.

    • Time Management Skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft products, Dynamics/Word/PowerPoint/Excel, and Outlook.

    • Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision within specified time frames.
