With two campus locations dedicated to the visual and performing arts, we offer diverse opportunities for cultural engagement. Visual Arts Center: Located at 26100 Old 41 Road, our Visual Arts Center features multiple fine art galleries, fully equipped art studios, a gift store, and picturesque sculpture gardens. We offer a wide range of classes, including painting, drawing, pottery, glass, and sculpture. Performing Arts Center: Situated at 10150 Bonita Beach Road, our Performing Arts Center houses the 486-seat Hinman Auditorium and the 200-seat Moe Auditorium & Film Center. Patrons can enjoy live music, theatre, comedy, film screenings, lectures, and a variety of youth and adult classes in art, music, theatre, and dance.

    Overview:

    The Operations Director plays a crucial role in Arts Bonita, overseeing its day-to-day operational and business functions. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Operations Director ensures the organization's operational controls, administrative procedures, and personnel are effectively managed to maintain financial strength, operational excellence, and sustained growth.

    Essential Functions:

    Administration:

    Collaborate with the Executive Director to establish strategic goals and make daily operational decisions aligned with the organization's mission.

    Support all departments in setting annual goals and conduct periodic reviews in alignment with the strategic plan.

    Direct and coordinate the Facilities, Patron Services, Private Rental Events departments, and all retail functions.

    Work alongside the Executive Director on Human Resources matters, including recruitment, compensation, performance reviews, training, and benefits management.

    Manage the organization's facilities, rental events, and operational budget.

    Enhance patron satisfaction and revise organizational policies and procedures as needed.

    Manage relationships with external vendors

    Prepare monthly operational reports for the Executive Director.

    Finance:

    Evaluate operational efficiencies and propose improvements in collaboration with the Finance Director.

    Work with the Executive Director and Director of Finance on the annual budget process and quarterly reviews.

    Review financial information and make recommendations to adjust budgets for sustainability and growth.

    Facilities:

    Directly manage operations and facilities, including grounds, parking, and routine maintenance, and suggest improvements.

    Collaborate with the Executive Director on facility capital improvement projects.

    Ensure a safe, secure, and attractive environment, maximizing effective use of available spaces.

    Assist with retrofitting interior and exterior spaces to meet evolving needs.

    Support day-to-day office operations and safety policies.

    Fundraising and Resource Development:

    Assist the Executive Director with annual fundraising planning and implementation.

    Provide strategic business and technical support to fundraising efforts.

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    Oversee Facilities, Box Office/Patron Service staff, interns, and volunteers.

    Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Finance on staff oversight, review, and training.

    Required Education and Experience:

    7+ years of management experience.

    Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.

    Knowledge of NEON CRM and Arts People preferred.
