Executive Assistant – Glendale Heights, IL
$60,000-$70,000/Annually + Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Matching
Currently seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to support our highly recognized and industry leading manufacturing company CEO and other senior level executives. The ideal candidate will be a driven team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
As our Executive Assistant , you will have the opportunity to work directly under the company’s highest executives. The ideal candidate must possess intelligence, creativity, and poise to support the day to day functions of these executives. Your primary responsibility will be to provide smooth, efficient, and detailed support throughout the office, including but not limited to: coordinating domestic and international travel, completing special projects, developing presentations, and assisting in HR duties when needed. Duties will be broad and ever-changing; our ideal candidate will be flexible and able to seamlessly balance these responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding executive support to our CEO and other senior level executives
- Coordinate and maintain contact list, appointments, and meetings, such that personal and professional appointments do not conflict
- Schedule both domestic and international travel, understanding currency conversions, and processing all expenses
- Assist department managers with their daily functions to ensure department goals are met and staff is notified of important information
- Organize and manage company meetings, prepare agenda, draft minutes
- Plan special events such as catered lunches, celebrations, and other various occasions
- Detailed and specific monitoring of departmental expenses to ensure accurate accounting and budgeting
- Assist with HR-related duties and any other special projects when needed
Requirements:
- ** 0-1 years of experience, training provided for the right candidate**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks of the highest quality and attention to detail
- Ability to remain discrete with the handling of confidential information
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – creating charts, presentations, pivot tables, etc.
